2. What is personal data?

3. What is the processing of personal data?

Universeum also collects user profiles for digital services, such as when registering for annual passes.

The types of personal data collected usually include email address, name, postal address, and mobile number. When registering for an annual pass, we also ask for your date of birth.

The personal data collected is primarily used for administration and delivery of services, as well as to fulfill a contract or actions requested before a contract is made. Processing of personal data also occurs so that we can contact you to respond to your questions or comments, or, if needed, reach out to you regarding bookings, orders, or purchases from us. Personal data is also processed to provide information about the company, our services, and products when requested. Additionally, personal data is used to fulfill our obligations and communicate regarding competitions, events, and other offers.

If you choose to participate in competitions organized by Universeum, your personal data may be used for marketing purposes, such as publishing the names and entries of winners in Universeum's digital channels. Personal data may also be used to promote relevant services or products if you wish. Universeum will only send you promotional offers or similar if we have obtained your consent for this.

7.1 WHY DO WE USE COOKIES?
The cookies we use on universeum.se and universeumshop.se are employed to improve your user experience and to enhance the website based on how it is used. Cookies help us make the content more relevant and simplify your experience as a visitor. We also use cookies to remember your previous choices on our website, measure website traffic, and for statistical purposes. Additionally, we use cookies for marketing purposes, such as retargeting. Retargeting means that after visiting universeum.se and universeumshop.se, you may see ads from Universeum on other websites you visit.

7.3 FACEBOOK PIXEL
The Facebook pixel is used for retargeting purposes. Retargeting allows Universeum to show relevant ads and offers on Facebook to those who have visited universeum.se. The Facebook pixel is also used to measure the effectiveness of ads and to track user actions on the website in relation to the advertising.

8. How long is my personal data retained?

We retain your data for as long as we are legally required to do so or as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing outlined above.

After this period, your personal data will be deleted.

9. CCTV Surveillance

In certain areas of the building, fixed cameras are installed. These cameras record video footage. When you visit us, Universeum may process your personal data if it is possible to identify you in the footage. Universeum is the data controller for all processing of these personal data.

9.2 LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

9.3 RETENTION PERIO

We store your personal data in an encrypted format on secure devices. All footage not handed over to the police is continuously deleted within 90 days.

Universeum is the sole owner of the personal information collected. We do not sell this information to third parties, nor do we share it with others except as specifically stated in this policy. Universeum will not disclose your information without your consent unless required by applicable law or necessary to process your order for a product or service from us.

When we disclose personal data to the police and other authorities, we do so when we have a legal obligation to do so, such as when the police have initiated a preliminary investigation. In some cases, we may also share personal data with the police based on a balancing of interests, for example, in the case of a crime report or the police's search for missing persons.

If independent partners, distributors, or resellers need personal data to fulfill Universeum's offers, personal information will be shared with them. When personal data is shared with third parties, they do not have the right to further disclose this information, except as required to perform the service on behalf of Universeum or to meet legal obligations
